Brief Outline:

Contracts Manager - Full Fit Out - GBP40k to GBP50k - Worcestershire. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Full Fit Out Contracts Manager based no further than 50 miles of my clients office in South West Midlands to join a company established for close to 40 years who have fantastic relationships across a broad range of sectors.

About the Client:

My client are an established and successful private company who are specialists in the design, fit-out and refurbishment of the built environment. Turning over around GBP10m annually they have the ability to deliver their clients vision through understanding and dealing effectively with functional and site-specific considerations which has resulted in a business that has grown primarily through referrals and repeat business. My client is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager in and around Worcestershire.

About the Role:

* Tasked with delivering multiple full Fit Out contracts covering a broad range of sectors including Retail, Commercial, Hospitality and Leisure
* Contracts range in value from GBP200k - GBP2m and include interesting projects ranging from Airports to Large Cinema complexes and Huge Retail Outlets
* The successful candidate will work in a fairly remote capacity which means it comes with a fair amount of autonomy
* No more than two days in the office in South West Midlands and site/client visits planned and managed by the candidate for the rest of the week
* Providing support to the Site Managers and other members of the site teams
* Set and manage project strategies monitoring progress, quality and commercial aspects of the scheme
* Prepare progress reports and represent schemes with clients and Directors. Regularly liaise with commercial managers and their respective teams
* Contribute as part of the Senior Management to the effective day to day running of the business and shaping future strategies and policies
* Develop strong relationships with clients and manage their expectations and requirements
* Ensure project deliveries are on time and to budget

About the Candidate:

* Communicates with colleagues and clients in a warm and persuasive way both formally and informally. Alters style and manner to suit audience
* Plans ahead, priorities tasks and monitors progress against plan, making alterations where necessary. Organises material and human resources
* Considers potential problems in advance and identifies opportunities and threats through analysing trends. * Guides others in implanting solutions
* Ensures that all viewpoints are considered and gains agreement on mutually acceptable outcomes, whilst maintaining the interests of the business
* Assesses risk and consequences before making a judgment on available evidence and ensures that decision is implemented. Delegates where appropriate
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the Full Fit Out sector
* Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
