Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Financial Controller on an exclusive basis to join a market leading Sales Business based in Redditch.

Sheridan Maine is thrilled to share a fantastic opportunity that is on offer at a vastly growing Sales Business. The Privately Owned Business has aggressive plans to expand with organic growth and continued strategic acquisitions.

The Role
As the Financial Controller you will provide accurate and timely management & financial information to the SMT. You will be the go to person, who will analyse data and be a commercial partner to the Business.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Monthly Management Accounts
- Variance Analysis on Monthly/Yearly basis
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Taking full responsibility for account accruals and prepayments
- Assisting SMT with Forecasting & Budgeting
- Timely & accurate VAT returns
- Development of financial & operational processes
- Develop relationships with internal & external stakeholders

Person specification
The ideal candidate will have an attention for detail with commitment to excellence. Requirements include;

- Fully Qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)/ Newly Qualified / Finalist will all be considered
- Experience of driving Business through continuous improvement
- Excellent IT skills with Advanced excel knowledge
- Dynamic problem solving
- Excellent communication skills

What is on offer?
