Sales Ledger Clerk

We are recruiting for Sales Ledger Clerk in the Walsall area.

As a Sales Ledger Clerk you will need to have:

  • Previous sales ledger experience
  • Ideally have experience in using CCH and Sage
  • Good working knowledge of MS excel and word
  • Minimum of 5 years of credit control experience
  • Professional telephone manner
  • 5 GCSE's including Maths and English


  • Salary: GBP18,000 per annum
  • Working Hours : 09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
  • Location: Walsall
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Sales Ledger Clerk:

  • Working with the Credit control team
  • Allocating cash
  • Balancing with the CCH and Sage system every month
  • Providing creditors with VAT receipts
  • Checking VAT has been included on invoices
  • Sorting out and filing any rebates
  • Running off turnover statements
  • Banking and reconciliation
  • Producing invoices
  • Setting up new clients
