A country house hotel located in the Birmingham region is currently recruiting for a Head Chef
The General Manager of a country house hotel which is a luxury hotel as well as a very popular banqueting/ wedding venue is seeking a Head Chef to take on the responsibility of the running of the kitchen at the venue. In this role of Head Chef you will have full autonomy to write the menus for the restaurant and the banqueting department following the modern British style that is currently in place and maintaining the profit in line with the departmental budget. The kitchen has a team of four chefs who you will be responsible for motivating in order to ensure that they are cooking to the standards expected at the hotel at all times whilst also ensuring that the busy dining operation runs smoothly at all times.
All Head Chefs applying for this role must have experience of managing the kitchen of a hotel with a busy banqueting operation and an 'a la carte’ restaurant operation. A proven ability to manage a busy department whilst ensuring that all financial targets are met and the team of chefs are managed so that they perform to the best of their ability is essential.
