Our client, an established SME who are part of a larger group with offices in North Birmingham are seeking a Finance Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Managing Director the purpose of the role would be to assume full responsibility for managing a small team and to take overall control of the company's accounting function.
Responsibilities Include:
*Leading and managing a small finance team
*Contributing fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business; challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate; and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
*Ensuring company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
*Presenting monthly management accounts and preparing annual accounts ready for audit
*Ensuring regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
*Corporate finance: managing the finances of any corporate activity including acquisitions, disposals, and fund raising activities
*Preparing Company Profit and Loss / Balance sheets; Cash Flow forecasts; Annual Budgets and comparing with actual business performance

The ideal Candidate would have the following:
*ACA,/ACCA/CIMA/MBA qualified or Equivalent
*High level of Excel knowledge
