Head Chef - Contract Catering £35-45k - Birmingham
Tonic are searching for a Head Chef for a leading contract catering business located in Birmingham. The role is very challenging and requires excellent organisation, team work and a flexible approach. The successful candidate will be a great leader and motivator, this is a big job so it's not suitable for a head chef without the relevant experience of cooking serious volume (600+ covers a day) to a great quality with fresh ingredients.

- Have stable work histories, any short durations can be explained due to valid reasons
- Are passionate about food, service and hospitality
- Are team focused and driven to be the best they can be
- Have a solid knowledge of how to organise a kitchen and communicate clearly at all times
This role does not suit a first time head chef, to be considered you must have relevant experience such as large hotels, a resort or conference centre servicing in excess of 700+ meals a day. Ideally you will also have gained or held a rosette at some time in the past.
The successful candidate will be contracted to 40 hours a week, predominantly Monday - Friday, with very occasional evening and weekend work as the business requires.
