Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN or RNLD
Location: Stoke on Trent (Close to City Centre)
Salary: £16.00 per hour+ enhancements + excellent benefits (£31,200 per annum)
Hours: Full or part time hours available, days or nights

Time Recruitment is assisting a national healthcare provider who are specialists in rehabilitation and long term care; renowned in their sector for their development in progressive disorders and commitment to specialist care for complex neurological injury and disorders of the brain and spine.

The service is easily commutable and ideally located closely to the A50, M6 motorway and the main train station in Stoke-On-Trent.

The site compromises of a stunning complex with two facilities on one site; catering to the needs of different patient groups and ensuring clinical skill mixing and patient needs are met effectively.

One site is a neurological care centre providing neuro-rehabilitation following brain injury, spinal cord injury and prolonged disorders of consciousness ensuring patients can live independently following hospital stays.

One site is catered to complex care needs such as progressive neurological conditions; Huntington's, early onset dementia, motor neurone disease and Parkinson's plus disease the unit is staffed with 2 staff nurses with a higher amount of support staff.

We are currently recruiting for a brand new complex care unit for patients requiring tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilation or exhibit challenging behaviours. This site has 3 staff nurses on shift and an array of support staff.

In this service as a Staff Nurse you would regularly use the following clinical skills; which we can offer external training on:

"Tracheostomy
"Mechanical ventilation
"NG feeding
"Catheterisation
"Peg feeding

Overall this is a well-equipped and well-staffed service with several physiotherapy suites; modern suites; large rooms/wet rooms with a large multi-disciplinary team and larger staffing levels due to the complex needs of the patients on site; there is also a physiotherapy centre on site.

Full training and induction is offered for Staff Nurses both classroom and supervision based with all clinical training done off site; if there is a clinical area you require updates/development in the company are very open to offering this training prior to starting.
