An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Resource Planning Manager to join our new team in Tamworth. The purpose of the role is to manage and ensure resource requirements fit the demand of the client and to lead and develop the ability to plan and forecast performance throughout the year, in a fast paced operation.
Using the resource planning systems effectively to produce up to date and accurate MI to support effectively planning labour resource according to shift/rota pattern.
Reviewing KPIs and productivities across the site and completing statistical analysis to support operational planning. Alongside this you will be monitoring and controlling the tactical forecast managing and highlighting risk in terms of FC failures and client service failures.
Planning for site operations across Dispatch, returns, inbound and stock control providing regular, timely updates to the client and leadership team, ensuring the tactical plan is aligned with the resource plan and that recruitment targets are achieved.
A further part of the role will be to ensure that performance management targets are realistic and new operational requirements are timed appropriately, you will have close contact with the teams to help manage and succession plan accordingly.
Our ideal candidate will be a strong communicator at all levels with strong operational knowledge across multiple functions. You will be an advanced IT user in particular Excel with knowledge of Project management and Lean Operational processes.
