Job title: Warehouse Operative

Description - Warehouse Operative - Stock replenishing / Picking Packing / Processing Returns

Working Monday to Friday 08.00am-5.00pm and two Saturdays a month 10am-14.00pm

Salary - £8.00 an hour (£19,488 per annum) plus profit share

Job type - Permanent / Full Time

Pension - Part Company Funded

Holiday entitlement - 20 days plus Bank Holidays

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to support our Inventory Manager and to join our dynamic and innovative warehouse team.

PetrolScooter is a market leading online retailer of motorcycle and off road leisure products, shipping worldwide from its 20,000 Square foot distribution centre in Coventry.

Ongoing training to be provided.

Essential Requirements:

Warehouse: 1 year

Previous experience of picking, packing and shipping online parts where orders are placed on Amazon and eBay or similar is essential.

The successful candidate will need to have direct previous experience of handling stock, unloading stock from containers and be accurate in putting stock away.

Experience with handling customer returns and processing the returns.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they have initiative and can work alone.

The successful candidate needs to demonstrate that they are a quick learner and can operate at pace safely and effectively.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate good organisational skills that can maximise team time, productivity.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they can work in a pressured environment and liaise effectively with senior managers and other departments.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they can keep workstations and picking and packing areas clean and tidy.

The successful candidate would ideally have an interest in motorbikes, pit bikes, mini moto’s, quads, or other mechanical products. General Duties and Responsibilities.

You will be working with live database systems and inventory management software on a daily basis and handling stock.

This is a fast paced job and requires that someone who is willing to give that little bit extra within the workplace.

Qualifications

Good GCSE grades in Maths and English essential.
