Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Support worker
An exciting new job opportunity has come available for a Support Worker to work within an exceptional Mental Health and Learning disabilities service within the area. The successful candidate for this role will be paid a competitive salary between £9-£10 per hour DOE, plus many other generous benefits and you will be working flexible hours per week suited to your lifestyle. The service benefits from a multi-disciplinary team of support workers, nurse, psychologist, occupational therapist and a psychiatrist.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills which are an essential part of this role:
• At least 12 Months experience of working in a similar support role • A passion for providing a high level of care and support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health • Own transport or the ability to travel would be advantageous • Desire and passion to work with individuals that display challenging behaviour • Flexibility with working hours across 7 days a week to meet the needs of the service • Mental Health Experience with (Personal Disorders, Substances Misuse) would be an advantage.
