Team Support Midlands are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in Smethwick for an Accounts Clerk/Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Hours: My client is flexible on hours and the salary will reflect this (£20-22k per annum for 30 hours per week and £16,666 - £18,333 per annum for 25 hours per week)

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTS UP TO TRIAL BALANCE

Duties: Process sales invoices, input onto BAAN computer system. Cash entry and allocation. Maintain debtors and produce monthly statements

Match, code and input Purchase Invoices. Supplier statement reconciliation and cheque production. Produce Creditors list

Maintain and balance Petty Cash

Bank reconciliation to Bank Statements/Cash Book

General Ledger entries including production of all monthly accruals and payments. Trial balance and Monthly Management Accounts

Maintain fixed Asset register and calculate depreciation

Maintain Purchase orders

Produce quarterly VAT return and make payment

Make PAYE/NI monthly payments

Calculate quarterly and half yearly bonus

Calculate P11d/Benefit in Kind

Produce pack at year end and liaise with Auditors on their site visit

Annual Business Plan including detailed Profit and Loss figures for next financial year

Record all vehicle servicing and repair costs

Produce recruitment package for new starters

Education and Qualifications: Ideally you will be AAT qualified

Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

Experience: MUST have experience of all aspects of accounts up to Trial Balance

Ideally experienced in using BAAN computer system, Excel and Word

Ability to work on own initiative with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
