Experiencing a significant, hugely exciting period of growth – turnover has increased by nearly 20% in the last 12 months alone – the business continues to win new business, directly impacting its reliance of its marketing team, its resource and capacity.

And so, it sees itself needing a new Head of Department, an experienced Marketing Manager, looking for an opportunity to head up a positive, fun, driven and hard-working team. Naturally, you’ll be driven by results, strategically focussed, keen to drive results, and directly support the growth of the business, but, you’ll not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and muck in, after all, a team is motivated by a someone who leads by example!!

Dynamic, engaging and credible, you’ll focus on managing, developing, essentially growing your team (currently just 3) to ensure the very best marketing support is delivered to the wider business.

You’ll work closely with Managing Partners and Heads of Departments to devise an effective Marketing and BD strategy for both their areas and that of the wider business community; 13 individual departments, each with immediate demands, so you will need to be a highly effective communicator and equally good time / project manager!
Management and analysis of various marketing budgets will your responsibility, as will a continual analysis of the impact of the marketing function in order to support ongoing, organic brand awareness across the business.

With specific duties including the development of an effective social media strategy; developing and execute marketing campaigns across multiple online and offline channels, you’ll work with the business’ Senior Graphic Designer to develop upon the firms long-standing brand.

You’ll actively seek opportunities to gain positive PR coverage, will yourself represent the business at key events, and have ultimate responsibility for sending regular and engaging articles, adverts and press releases to multiple target audiences.

The company website falls to you too so you’ll need to able to project manage various website rebuilds and redevelopments.

Ideally, you'll come from a professional services sector, but it's not a deal breaker. More important, is your up to date knowledge of marketing best practice, a strong understanding of effective PR and Marketing Communications, and an ability to lead and inspire the marketing team and other internal stakeholders.

First class copywriting skills are a given, as it an ability to adapt tone of voice and use the full marketing mix to reach and engage different audiences.

You'll be au fait with management of CRM databases, be able to write tender and pitch documents for a range of prospects, and have a working knowledge of PPC campaigns, affiliate network and various digital marketing platforms.
