Service Desk, Level 1, Junior, IT, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Coventry Service Desk Analyst | Up to £18k | Warwickshire | Permanent | IT Are you looking to kick-start your career in IT but don't have any IT experience? Hays are working closely with a large private sector client to recruit a Level 1 Service Desk Analyst to join their busy team of 35. A Level 1 Service Desk Analyst will typically be the first point of contact when someone is having a technical issue. You will resolve tickets and manage the customers' expectation by providing timely updates where appropriate. A Level 1 Service Desk Analyst will resolve and close tickets where their skillset allows, otherwise hand them on to the next tier of support, be that internal or external. Experience working in an IT environment is advantageous but it is not essential as full training will be provided. Essential Competencies: Communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent telephone manner. Problem solving skills. Customer Service skills The successful post-holder will need to be able to drive to the client site.
