Desktop Support role based in Birmingham Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen working as a 2nd Line Support Analyst within a successful organisation in Birmingham. The role will require experience of providing 2nd line support within a fast paced service desk environment. Your new role Provide 2nd Line support, accurately recording, updating and documenting requests - logging and resolving calls. Maintain the daily infrastructure with regard to configuration of hardware and software assets, completing availability reports and identifying potential incidents which will impact on the service. Resolve incidents and support different types of software (e.g. SCCM 2012, Active Directory, Windows 10 & 7, in-house databases…) and hardware (e.g. Dell PCs and Laptops, printers, copiers, scanners…) Install, configure and upgrade new IT equipment.
