Your new school
I am recruiting for a striving academy in the Solihull area that aims to provide a safe and open environment for learning. You will need to be an experienced teacher with a hard-working and approachable attitude to be successful in your application. The school are committed to addressing under performance and are striving to improve the facilities for their pupils. They provide a range of activities that help foster a strong partnership between all stakeholders.
Your new role
In your new role you will be expected to work well as part of team, demonstrating high levels of communication and stepping up to help with the leadership of support staff. You will be expected to deliver high quality lessons that enable children to achieve their potential by becoming self-disciplined workers. As a class teacher it will be your aim to encourage an understanding of and respect for democracy, law, equality, individual liberty and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for this role you will need to have completed your studies and provide relevant references. You will need to be experienced in teaching Key Stage 2 and providing a broad and varied approach to the curriculum. As this role may include teaching in Year 6, recent experience of working within the new SATs framework is desirable but not essential.
