There is an immediate requirement for an experienced electro-mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a successful manufacturing company. The role will involve carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance tasks on all manufacturing plant on a rotating shift pattern that contains days, early's, afternoons & night shifts, rotating on a weekly basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Fault find and rectification on all plant and equipment.
- Maintain plant and equipment in line with manufacturer's requirements.
- Partake in routine maintenance and continuous improvement activity.
- Provide comprehensive site engineering support.

The ideal candidate will have both electrical and mechanical ability supported by a time served apprenticeship or suitable qualifications. Plant specific training will be offered to candidates who possess core skills in each discipline. Previous experience of the repair and maintenance of plant, machinery and services within a manufacturing or production facility will be required.

Candidates should be able to evidence:

- A recognised Electrical Qualification, ONC/D HNC/D, C&G, NVQ (or equivalent) either gained through an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or other training to a similar standard. Ideally 17th edition wiring regulations.
- A formal mechanical engineering qualification or a competent level of mechanical ability
- Ideally, knowledge of PLC's, Servo motion technology, Pneumatics and Hydraulics
- Previous experience of undertaking planned and reactive maintenance works within a manufacturing / production / logistics / distribution / warehouse / industrial environment
- Flexible, analytical and a keen team player with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Computer literacy

The position will report directly into the Maintenance Manager and will allow the successful candidate to demonstrate their ability to support a thriving manufacturing business.

Flexibility to undertake additional hours to support the needs of the business would be expected.
