Salary: flexible dependant on experience

OTE: £27,000+

Role

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will initially spend your time with our Onsite Trainer, learning all aspects all of the role in classroom environment before working closely with your team putting everything you have learnt into practice.

You will work in a vertical market within the Field Service Industry ensuring you become a specialist in your sector, providing quality candidates to various customers quickly and efficiently.

Typical daily duties will include CV searching and shortlisting, screening candidates for specific roles over the phone, negotiating fees, researching companies in your vertical market, arranging interviews with candidates and clients, contacting new companies for business development, marketing candidates to prospect companies through a variety of methods, updating CRM with client and candidate information etc.

Based on the industry you will be working in, you will be expected to react quickly to new candidates and vacancies, negotiate, smooth over any issues that may arise, create a strong client base, generate candidates through unconventional methods as well as various other tasks.

Most of the role consists of building relationships with candidates and clients over the phone, although face to face meetings are encouraged.

You will work to achievable KPIs which help you achieve your monthly/quarterly financial targets with the support of your Line Manager.

Requirements

To apply for this role you must have/be able to:

- Previous sales experience (face to face or over the phone) would act as an advantage to your application, although this is not essential.
- Experience in a customer facing role (in any industry).
- Keep up working in a fast paced target driven environment.
- Organise/plan own time to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Be resilient when faced with rejection.
- Motivate self to hit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
