RGN - Nurse Manager

Location: Oxley, Wolverhampton

Salary: £46,000 per annum

Hours: Days - 35 hours per week

Time Recruitment is assisting a national and reputable housing association in selecting a RGN - Nurse Manager for their new and fully compliant service in Oxley, Wolverhampton.

The service is a not for profit nursing service supporting 23 adults with intermediate care needs; the overall aim of the service is to rehabilitate service users back into the community promoting independent living and ensure safe and consistent step down care; working closely with the local hospital.

Your role as RGN - Nurse Manager is to assist the service manager in the day to day management of the service working in conjunction with CCG promoting CCG standards and ensuring compliance with CQC also. The service currently has an excellent reputation and outstanding CQC report.

You will oversee and manage support staff; working alongside other nurses directing them appropriately and ensuring effective delivery of care across the service. You will also take a lead on risk assessment and management, admission and discharge amongst ensuring operationally the service runs seamlessly and demonstrates clinical excellence.

What also makes the role unique is you will act as a clinical governance specialist advisor to the group and wider directorate; so an excellent clinical governance knowledge is integral to the role.

Your role will heavily include the development of a staff team; so a teaching and assessing qualification is advantageous; but we are also able to offer support in obtaining such qualifications; inducting and developing an experienced and skilled team will be a large part of the role.

We are searching for a competent RGN who is an responsible and competent leader, with at least 3 years post qualification experience and experience of working in a similar environment; someone who is able to lead and motivate a staff team with experience in nursing management and clinical governance knowledge that is second to none.
