The Outstanding secondary school in Wolverhampton are looking for a qualified food technology teacher for September to take on a full teaching timetable. The school who believe in all pupils and staff being responsible for their actions and also respectful of each other. They also promote all members of the school to be an active learner and always try to improve and develop their own skills.
The school are looking for a qualified teacher who specialises in food technology to key stage 4 at least, but being able to teach to key stage 5 would be useful for the school. The job is a full time teaching position where the planning, preparation and marking are all vital parts. The position is temporary from September however this could change in January depending on the schools requirements. You may also be required to attending department meetings, CPD sessions and also do the parents evenings for the classes you teach.
To be succeed in securing this job you would need to hold qualified teacher status in the UK, you would also need to be a qualified teacher and specialise in food technology. You must also have experience teaching the UK curriculum and understand the new GCSE marking schemes. The school in located in Wolverhampton so this must also be a travel-able distance for you on a daily basis.
