Senior Strategic Planning Manager
Always wanted to move to the client side or simply looking for a new role to re-ignite the passion for Planning you used to have? I am working with a major landowner in their search for a Senior Strategic Planning Manager.
With approximately 12,000 acres of surplus land, your role will be to implement a property development plan with a particular focus on strategic sites. Analysing the current assets, you will be using the necessary external consultants to put these pockets of land through the Planning process before disposal in order to maximise the financial gain of the company.
Each site should have a specific business plan that you will be ready to create and implement, manage the promotion of sites through the Planning system, manage the disposal and acquisition of sites and develop strong relationships with stakeholders, planning authorities and housebuilders.
You should have a record in delivering large-scale consents across sites in the UK, have promoted land through the planning system and you will need to have been involved in land transactions in your recent roles.
You will ideally be MRTPI or MRICS (P&D route), have over 10 years experience in a Strategic Land & Planning related role as well as being financially literate with a commercial background.
You will need to have excellent written and oral communications skills and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage external teams and consultants.
I am a specialist recruiter of Town Planning professionals and am constantly working on a number of roles. If this role doesn’t sound of interest but you are open to a conversation, please contact me (Antony) on 020 7318 5851 or send your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
