About the Role
As a Programme Engineer, you will be working alongside the Asset Creation Programme Manager, to help deliver diversion, protection and connections works on both water and sewer assets. The Severn Trent Water (STW) team are an enabler to a major Government funded Infrastructure project. You will be accountable for projects both in their own right and also in support of the Programme Manager and their team. Typically, you will be accountable for projects of work from £150K to £1m per year. These projects could compromise of either numerous small projects, or one single large project.

About You
With an appreciation of Contract Law and Construction Contract terms, the successful candidate will also have knowledge of supply chain management, with an emphasis on the control of financial outputs. Well-developed client relationship management skills are essential for this role, as is experience of managing projects, whilst taking a risk-based approach. You will have proven experience of undertaking financial management of projects to ensure accurate and robust financial forecasting and budgetary allocation. Planning and implementation skills are further skills needed for this position, as is a consistent drive to deliver, as well as the ability to make sense of a situation by drawing on your own experiences. An awareness of integrating a disparate set of stakeholders in order to deliver project objectives is essential for this role, as is knowledge of the regulatory regime relevant to the capital programme.
