Senior Procurement Manager
- Previous experience working on high value, Infrastructure Projects.
- Able to establish procurement strategies from earliest possible stage.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS).
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a £1bn infrastructure project in the West Midlands, for one of the UK's leading contractors.
Reporting into the Procurement Lead, you will be an integral part of the team in determining the Procurement Strategy for this iconic project that will have real positive influence on the region.
You will be responsible for challenging all aspects of our cost base ensuring we are efficient and cost effective in delivery. For developing and implementing solutions through the procurement of goods and services to support both the Group and Individual Project objectives. To support the development and execution of the Project Supply Chain Strategy. Strategies on how procurement will deliver at project level.
For developing, owning and maintaining a supply chain network, ensuring suppliers are accredited. Producing Invitation to Tender: Prepare packages, facilitating and driving the preparation of a robust, complete set of documentation through the entire project team including our designers. Managing the pre-tender / mid-tender / post-tender processes.
Collaborating with the Project team to ensure the successful delivery of the procurement on the project.
