Starting Point recruitment are working with a client based in Hockley Heath who are seeking a talented Bar Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate would be from a similar environment and have been in management for 2 years plus.
recruiting, training and supervising staff
maintaining statistical and financial records
planning maintenance work, events and room bookings
handling customer complaints and queries
promoting and marketing the business
ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in current managerial position in a small to medium property hotel
Passionate, with a hands-on approach
Ability to lead, coach and animate the Hotel team
Knowledge of driving standards with acute attention to detail
Has a personal commitment to hospitality, customer service & quality
Strong business acumen combined with an excellent leadership and liaison skills.
Is committed to the development of the business and the hotel team.
Qualifications and training required
A hotel/catering management or hospitality qualification can be advantageous.
Relevant work experience to include hotel, catering, retailing, waitressing or bar work.
Reliability and stamina are essential in this role & you will also need excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of foreign languages would be an advantage.
