A leading Regional contractor based in the Midlands who operate in multiple sectors including Commercial, Retail and Leisure.

Having built a reputation for offering innovative and creative solutions, they have grown consistently year on year, ensuring steady profitable growth, whilst winning various commendations for their project delivery along the way.

Working closely with clients, sub-contractors and consultants, they develop a smooth line of communication and ensure that all parties buy in to the success of the project.

As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a talented Contracts Manager to join their Retail division.

The Contracts Manager Job Description

As Contracts Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the profitable and timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities include:

- Programming of works.
- Managing the delivery team (Project Managers, Site Managers etc.) ensuring projects are running to programme and to budget.
- Sourcing and procurement of sub-contractors.
- Working closely with Quantity Surveyors and in house design teams to ensure effective and profitable delivery.
- Heading up client meetings.
- Create and manage Health & Safety plans.
- Overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion.
- Keep an up to date knowledge on all related legislation.
- Have a working knowledge of budgets and costing.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the Retail sector of construction.
