The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

This is a key role for a confident and dynamic individual to lead on our new business strategy and the development of our current regional corporate partnerships across the Midlands and East of England. This will include strategic corporate partnerships, charity of the year, empoyee fundraising and sponsorship.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of securing significant income within a charity fundraising or commerical business development environment, together with an understanding of what influences funding agendas and opportunities in the corporate sector. You will be an outstanding communicator and proven relationship builder with the ability to relate with personal credibility to senior internal and external stakeholders. As a motivating leader and line managerm, you will ensure sector leading stewardship of current partners to maximise and secure their continued support.

This role is ideally based at our Birmingham office in the Custard Factory with flexibility to work out of alternative PT offices across the Midlands and East of England.

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
