Charity People are thrilled to be working with the hugely successful Major Partnerships team; a team which has increased income by £2 million in the past 12 months to help recruit two Major Partnerships Officer's. As Major Partnership Officer you will help develop strong relationships with major donors, corporate partners and trusts and foundations, working alongside the rest of the Major Partnerships team and colleagues across international offices in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The Major Partnerships Officer will be joining the charity at such an exciting time and will need to come with a successful track record in fundraising from major donors, corporate partners or trusts and foundations. You will support the Major Partnerships team to identify new funding opportunities by undertaking research, analysing fundraising trends and evaluating market information. You will manage your own portfolio of donors, drafting tailored proposals and appeals for new and existing supporters, with the objective of enhancing their relationship and experience. You will also prepare donor reports, manage donations and update and maintain the Raisers Edge database. If you have a background in Major Donor, Corporate or Trust fundraising and believe you have the talent and the passion to transform the lives of some of the poorest people, this may be the ideal role for you! This role comes with great flexibility including flexible working around core hours of 10-4, there is also the opportunity to work from home for 1 day per week (initially). The charity is currently based just outside of Rugby (with shuttle busses which run to the offices from Rugby rail station) however will be relocating to a office in the centre of Rugby within the next 12 months.
