Siemens Aero Derivative Gas Turbines are recruiting a Data and Information Services Officer to be based at our Iceni Centre in Warwick, United Kingdom. Our Iceni Centre provides the essential levels of service and support to ensure that our customers are provided with the reliable and available source of energy they demand.

Digital Services for Energy leverage Big Data to help our customers. Using the data generated from energy assets and integrating it with other data sources such as environmental data, fleet data, outage reports, we are able to gain powerful insights that are used to develop customized service solutions designed specifically to meet customers' needs... whether it is increased efficiency, reliability, flexibility, availability or all of the above. Data is also widely used to drive efficient business decisions and achieve optimum business performance.

What are my responsibilities?
You will establish and maintain the relationship with our partners to proactively ensure a constant and timely flow of information
You will participate in the development and implementation of internal processes for ensuring data quality
You will proactively manage the Pos/Contracts with visibility of financial state, valid Pos and ensuring no outstanding invoices
You will be the process owner for R&O data supply chain management
You will take active part in the Digitalization process and assist to streamline and automate BAU activities
You will be the owner of a subset of systems, ensuring the quality of their data, performing the required maintenance and interfacing with international stakeholders for their development
You will help the management ensuring that the Skills Matrix is up to date and driving the training needs

What do I need to qualify for this job?
oYou have an academic degree in Information Science, Engineering or a related field
oYou are proficient in the usage of standard office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, FTP clients)
oYou are passionate about data-driven solutions
oYou have good numerical skills
oYou have knowledge of BI tools and database management
oYou have good social skills when it comes to work in global teams or present ideas and concepts to other stakeholders
oYou have a loyal personality; we are looking for people with a long term interest in Siemens AGT
oYou have the ability to understand and rapidly adapt to our established processes.
oYou are an excellent team player with the ability to work independently.
oYou have a broad outlook combined with analytical mind-set: ability to make logical connections and understand the big picture quickly, as well as having a critical eye for data-driven improvements.
oYou have a proactive, well-organised and result-oriented approach combined with an ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.
oYou have a genuine interest in data, information, emerging digital trends and their impact on the society and business development.
oAny prior knowledge / experience in the foundations of Project Management, Data & Information technology or Data Analytics will be an advantage.
oAny prior knowledge of a programming language like JavaScript, Java, C#, Python will be an advantage.
oAny prior knowledge of SalesForce and SAP will be an advantage.
