Our client based in Newtown Mid Wales is looking for a skilled Senior Process Engineer to work in their fast paced environment. This will give you a brilliant opportunity to meet new people and work alongside them across the plant. This will include continuously improving current processes as well as designing processes for the future in order to meet demand. 
The job mainly includes; proactively managing continuous improvement to ensure cost, quality and output targets, removing process bottlenecks through planning, ensure safe working and the essential documents are in place, purchase orders signed off , budget control and authorisation for engineering spend, support NPI projects, lead mentor and coach, weekly and monthly reporting of KPIs through process quality and POR forums, change note review and sign off for engineering, and to identify and manage CAPEX related projects. 
You will need
Degree in Engineering or HNC/HND
Lean or Six Sigma training Experience in an Automotive/Electronics manufacturing environment
Highly desirable - strong technical knowledge of printed circuit board (SMT and PTH technologies) and electro-mechanical box level assembly processes and product flow
Proven experience in project management, working to milestones and deadlines
Previous experience with CAD, technical drawings and design specifications
Knowledge of structured development and improvement techniques such as DFM, PFMEA, Lean, Six-Sigma, SPC & 8D
Experience in using statistical packages such as Minitab in order to analyse data
Good understanding of BOMs, ECNs, CAD data, technical & assembly drawings and circuit diagrams
Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and persuasive attitude
High level of numeracy/literacy, strong IT skills, use of Microsoft suite of packages
Self-starter and organised to schedule and manage multiple tasks in parallel
Meticulous and highly organised
Ability to work independently
Experienced problem solver, methodical and analytical thinker
Strong mentor and coach to the engineering team
Effective and proven team builder
Ability to influence, consult, implement, evaluate, present and initiate
Tenacity to complete the task at hand
Ability to deliver results under pressure
Capability to foster innovation within the teams
Hours -  
(Day) 37.5 hours Monday - Friday
