My client are one of the UK's largest and most successful logistics providers with a high profile client portfolio. They now have 3 newly created roles to support their growth strategy for site based HR Managers to be located in Lichfield, Stafford and Stoke on Trent.

These challenging roles will be the perfect opportunity to become part of either a highly successful site or embark on the challenge of a start-up team with a customer that continues to realise its ambitious growth.
This appointment reports to the Contract HR Manager with responsibility to the site General Manager and line management responsibility for site HR team.
You will deliver the site HR strategy ensuring alignment to the business plan and customer's continued growth plan and hold overall responsibility for the management of all H.R. activities and key initiatives, such as Resourcing, Performance Management, Talent Management and Development, Succession Planning, Labour Costs and Legal spends.
As HR Manager you will ensure a best in class performance against contractual KPI's, i.e. sickness absence, attrition, safety, etc. through effective partnership with appropriate site management team whilst supporting the management team with ER issues and ensuring the team provide robust HR support and advice.
Working together with local union and workforce representatives to develop a positive and proactive constructive working relationship, implementing an employee relations climate of excellence to support the site's development and ensuring all legislative requirements are met and HR best practice is firmly established within the contract.
As HR Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the site engagement strategy in line with my clients vision and values, ensuring best practice approaches are established and volume recruitment / selection techniques are utilised to ensure you attract the very best talent.
What you'll need to succeed
Must be able to demonstrate HR achievements in the above areas, ideally in a similar working environment. Experience of a similar start up or large scale recruitment would be advantageous alongside CIPD qualification with first hand experience of dealing with complex ER issues.
You will possess excellent influencing skills and strength of character, with the personal qualities of tenacity and resilience required to be effective and have the ability to analyse complex situations and provide workable solutions to a variety of stakeholders, adjusting your style to suit.
You will possess sound knowledge of employment law with strong communication & negotiating skills and strong organisation skills with the tenacity to work in a fast paced environment.

What you'll get in return
My client are offering a salary if c£35,000-£40,000 plus benefits including 25 days holiday, on site gym, flexible benefits offering and a competitive pension plan.
