HR Advisor/Officer - Business Change & Employee Relations

Location: Warwickshire

The HR department at this market leading organisation is looking to recruit a proactive and dynamic HR Advisor specialising in Business Change and Employee Relations. The successful candidate will have responsibility for advising on and supporting Business Change and ER casework across the business.

The role:

- Managing Employee Relations cases including Employment Tribunal claims
- Partnering with Managers, understanding their business plans and priorities, coaching them to improve performance and drive business change in their areas
- Liaise regularly with managers to understand, and advise on, their HR issues, and attending meetings as appropriate
- Carry out project work as agreed with the HR Manager.
- Acting as the technical expert, keeping abreast of changes to legislation, highlighting risk and recommending changes to company policy and practice where relevant

The person:

- Degree educated or equivalent
- Previously worked within a large successful organisation in Employee relations or a generalist HR role
- Be able to demonstrate significant experience of advising on business change and ER issues
- Have a strong understanding of employment law and experience in its practical application
- Be able to provide accurate advice and coaching to managers on all aspects of employee relations
- Have the ability to juggle and prioritise a high volume of day to day cases with projects
- Possess a pragmatic approach with strong commercial acumen
- Have excellent communication skills; able to adapt style to confidently interact with all levels with the organisation
- Be able to identify trends and highlight to HR Team and relevant managers in order to further develop leadership and people management skills
- Have experience of advising on TUPE
- Be able to deal with ambiguity and manage change
- Motivate, coach and enable your team and people around you
- Develop and maintain cross-functional networks
- Listen, feedback and push back constructively
- Plan and prioritise workload in line with business priorities
