Children's Residential Support Worker - Temporary Shifts - Birmingham
Your new company
Hays Social Care are working with a number of providers of young peoples residential services in the Birmingham area. We are looking to recruit children's residential support workers to cover shifts - this may be on an adhoc basis or more planned full time periods.
Your new role
You will be working with young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties EBD, or Learning Disability and challenging behaviour in a residential setting. You will be working with the young person to promote positive outcomes for them, by following their individual support plans.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have previous children's residential experience, and ideally a NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive rate of pay, dependant on experience qualifications and the shift type, along with your pay type. This is typically between £8.50 - £11 per hour.
