HR and Helpdesk Assistant with Secretarial responsibility
To provide excellent HR Services support providing first line contact advice and ensuring that managers and colleagues across the organisation are actively engaged in the effective utilisation of the self service HR and Payroll system.
Not-for-Profit organisation based in Leamington Spa
To be the first point of contact, acting initially as help-desk support for HR queries.
To play a key role in supporting HR in devolving more responsibility to colleagues and managers.
To advise and up skill managers and colleagues on transactional HR processes.
To engage with colleagues/managers to embed increased self service.
To own and make ongoing improvements to system functionality and manage/update the online guidance through the Intranet.
To interface with specialist suppliers around payroll/recruitment/projects .
To maintain knowledge of current legislation, regulatory requirements and good practice as relates to the role to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements
To support the job evaluation process, grading and salary structures.
To contribute to the development of all HR Service Support processes.
To provide secretarial and administrative support to the HR Director in a PA capacity
- Knowledge of HR policies and employment law
- Strong working knowledge of HR systems
- Ideally will have used iTrent
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Able to take minutes
- Highly organised
