School ICT Technician
What are we looking for?
Lendlease are looking to employ a School ICT Technician based at Waverley School, Birmingham. This role has the purpose of supporting the school ICT services by providing on-site technical support, managing the resolution of incidents and service requests, in line with agreed processes and procedures. The role also involves utilising LLICT service desk system and all other associated tools and utilities in order to provide an appropriate level of support to meet client requirements.
Essential qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience:
Knowledge of supporting some or all of the following technologies:
LAN, WAN, wireless, PC & laptop architecture and peripherals, printers, audio/visual equipment, education specialist devices
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage allocated calls in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs
- Demonstrable experience of working in a School/academy/college IT Service Management capacity.
Desirable qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience:
IT Infrastructure Library [ITIL] v3 concepts and procedures or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of the ICT role in delivering the education curriculum
