Our client, a national college who support people living with disabilities, is expanding!

A new opportunity for a travel trainer role based in Worcestershire has arisen and we are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic candidate to fill it.

In partnership with local social services and public transport providers, the successful candidate will deliver independent travel training to vulnerable young people who have learning difficulties or physical disabilities to enable them to use public transport for journeys to school or college.

The ideal candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds as full induction training will be provided, but must be someone who is compassionate and enjoy helping others to gain confidence. They must be confident in working independently within a community setting and have the ability to take a creative approach when teaching and interacting with clients.

A clean, full drivers licence and access to a car is a requirement for this role as travel around the Worcestershire area is part of the day-to-day duties.
The role is 40 hours a week during term time (approx. 39 weeks) and will pay £18,403.08 on an annual basis.
