Full time MONDAY–FRIDAY 12:00 – 20:30

The Network Planning is part of the Feeder department that coordinates asset planning and utilization of Feeder resources. We plans package movement across the ground transportation network in the most efficient and cost effective manner. We monitor package load activities and communicates with other Feeder Schedulers in the region to coordinate transportation network plans.

A network planning specialist maintains data and supports existing systems for product flow and volume (e.g., Network Information System [NIS], etc.). He/She assists in the movement of data from planning to production phases, provides expertise and support to systems users in Planning groups, and collaborates with data management and others in the District Planning groups.

Some specific responsibilities include:

· Developing load projections/plans

· Scheduling in FS

· Developing tools in excel and access

· Supporting feeder colleagues


The job involves working unsupervised at times, and will require a little travelling and some nights away from home, as well as varying hours during live projects.

The successful candidate must have:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and backgrounds, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word (SQL and VBA are an advantage)
