Senior Administrator - Learning and Development

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands, B15 2SQ
Salary: £18,000 (FTE)
Contract: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 4 days per week (29.6 hours)

Our client works to make a positive difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities. We are seeking to recruit a high quality administrator to join our organisation, specialising in the delivery of all activities undertaken by the learning services department including, conferences, training and qualifications.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised senior administrator. Your role will be to provide administrative support to the learning and development team. You will need to provide high quality, and flexible support and will need to be a good communicator and able to manage your own workload.

Some of the duties would include:

  • Providing administrative support for conferences, organising smaller training events across the UK and Ireland
  • To provide administrative support for the PI Training Accreditation Scheme
  • Supporting our qualifications services by liaising with awarding organisations, and customers, maintaining and updating electronic systems including CRM databases, awarding organisation portals and online portfolios
  • To provide administrative support to consultancy projects as and when required
  • To ensure effective customer relationship management and processes
  • To support the collection and analysis of feedback from all learning activities and report as required.
  • To attend events, conferences, exhibitions and other external events as agreed with manager.

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Administrative qualification - or working towards an administrative qualification eg. Business Admin
  • Minimum three year business/office experience
  • Administration/coordination experience (preferably in a L&D environment)
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office and experience of CRM systems
  • Experience of Project Management
  • Data analysis and improving processes / systems
  • Demonstrable experience of improving admin systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to manage multiple competing demands and priorities whilst demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work creatively, collaboratively and flexibly within the team, supporting other colleagues
  • A commitment to quality, continuous learning and improvement
