Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 - negotiable dependant on experience and skills

About the role
A rapidly growing e-commerce furniture retailer, is looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager
to join us on our journey to becoming one of the UKs leading furniture retailers.
As Customer Service Manager, you will own the customer experience from point of purchase through to delivery and aftercare, ensuring our customers receive a seamless experience worthy of a 5-star rating.
Still a relatively small team, you will be responsible for shaping the department, establishing processes and procedures and recruiting A players, ensuring the department is positioned to scale with the rest of the business.
This is a key position to support the growth of the business and increase customer loyalty by driving excellence in customer service.
- 5 years proven experience as a customer service manager
- Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
- In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Working knowledge of customer service software and tools
- Ability to think strategically and to lead
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Flexible to work occasional weekends
Be able to see the big picture as well as the finer details. You will deal in small daily matters, as well as larger aims and setting goals. A systematic organised approach to work is vital.
Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills, for dealing with many types of people at all levels in a direct and diplomatic way, are essential.
Strong leadership skills, prioritising and delegation, are required. You must be able to lead, coach, inspire, support and motivate your team, and always seek to improve best practice.

Previous experience working in ecommerce retail necessary. Experience in furniture retail will be advantageous.
