Opportunity

Celesio UK, a pioneering provider of integrated healthcare services, have an exciting opportunity to join our central operations team as a Rota Coordinator. Our rota co-ordinators maximise the quality of service provided to Lloyds Pharmacy customers by managing our relationships with both internal and external contacts in order to provide pharmacist cover within budget and support the recruitment and retention of pharmacists.

Role:

This is a busy and fast paced role where you will plan and manage the rota for pharmacists ensuring that all pharmacies open with a qualified pharmacist. By building long term professional relationships within your area you will be confident in providing both emergency cover for sickness as well being proactive for planned absences such as holidays. You will build and maintain excellent relationships with Locums and Locum Agencies and Relief Pharmacists and through relationship building, covert locums to employed pharmacists You will proactively manage costs of pharmacist cover ensuring that the most cost effective solution is found, whilst maintaining high levels of service and consistency in individual pharmacies, and ensure that all invoices are processed accurately and on time. Liaising with Area Managers on a regular basis you will communicate rota and potential issues and to provide solutions to any ongoing issues within the area and provide support provided to team members as well as team of Area Administrators You will provide your team leader with all routine and ad hoc reports in an accurate and timely manner to include - locum costs, KPI, SLA, Pharmacist absence and holiday data. Plus ensure that pharmacy closures are reported in a timely manner to CCGs and Superintendent's Office Working as part of a team you will respond to all telephone calls, queries and e-mails with the SLAs agreed and undertake any other appropriate tasks as requested by Rota Team Leader and provide support to regional administration team when appropriate.

Person: It is essential you have excellent communication skills and be customer focused. Using our systems daily you will possess sound knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in providing customer service / administrative support, be a team player and comfortable working in a very fast paced busy environment. It is desirable that you have experience in resource planning / resource coordination and experience of negotiating fees with external suppliers. Location:

This role is based at our Support Centre in Coventry, Walsgrave Triangle, CV2 2TX. We are located just off junction 2 of the M6, easily accessible by car. If using public transport, we are 5.5 miles from Coventry train station, approx. 40 minutes by bus from the station.
