We’re currently working with a national charity that supports colleagues who work within the retail industry. Providing end to end support from financial assistance to supporting with wellbeing and vocational support they offer a unique charitable service. In this role you’ll have strong research skills and an analytical flair and be responsible for providing insights and trends to help capitalise on new business development to set the charity up for future growth and sustainability.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and produce reports that identify potential sources of income for the charity
  • Provide insights and report on trends in the retail sector as to how the business can capitalise on identified developments
  • Build a process for keeping knowledge on our key supporters, clients and partners up to date
  • Support those involved in the development of prospects, working with individuals to identify target audiences
  • Develop processes and frameworks that contribute to fundraising, wellbeing and vocational prospects, working towards annual targets and reviewing and refreshing the prospect pool
  • Assist with the network mapping tool
  • Provide full and accurate research profiles and networking lists on key major donor prospects, trustees, patrons, donors, clients, partners and influential individuals
  • Keep the business at the forefront of current trends and best practice in new business research and development

What you’ll be:

  • Experience of building new business opportunities via research led initiatives
  • Degree educated, equivalent or qualification
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail
