Job Title: Project Assistant (Legal)

Location: Rugby

Salary: Competitive

This is an 8 Month FTC until the end of March 2018

Main responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the Legal Services and Operational Support Services teams
  • To undertake and co-ordinate procedural, clerical and administrative support tasks
  • Being responsible for setting personal priorities and managing personal workload
  • The ability to work under routine direction against established priorities, processes and procedures
  • Liaise closely with clients via telephone or e-mail in a clear, concise and professional manner
  • Carrying out general Legal Assistant tasks such as file opening and closing
  • Performing business analysis and process mapping activities to identify possible improvements
  • Test and implement new software solutions
  • Report back to Senior Managers on findings and solutions
  • To complete all delegated duties in a time efficient and accurate manner
  • Responding to clients and general members of the public via phone and e-mail

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong administrative and analytical skills
  • Previous experience in a Legal Assistance role is desirable
  • The ability to work well both within a team and autonomously
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Must be IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office packages
  • Good literacy skills including spelling and grammar are crucial
  • Ability to deal with a range of clients and customers
