Remuneration - £50,000 - £58,000 depending on experience

Our client, a global pharma business with a strong portfolio, is actively seeking a new MSL within their rare disease team, covering the Midlands.

Duties will include establishing and managing a KOL network and contributing to developing the MSL plan.

The ideal candidate will be able to confer scientific and medical information pertaining to Rare disease products with a high level of credibility.

Key responsibilities will include:

-KOL development

- Communicate accurate scientific information for internal and external stakeholders. Respond professionally to clinical information and data requests

-Maintain clinical, scientific and technical knowledge within rare diseases

-Identify where patient care can be supported and improved

- Attend national, regional and international scientific meetings, congresses and symposia to maintain and update therapeutic area knowledge and understand and interact with the expert environment.

Requirements:

Relevant life science / pharmaceutical degree or above

Experience as an MSL, or alternatively, candidates not yet experienced as an MSL will be considered if they have a strong therapeutic alignment (i.e. rare disease experience, particularly if within another medical affairs / med info vacancy)

Ability to present complex scientific information to HCPs
