My client has a job for a Facilities Assistant / handy person to help run their office block in City Centre Birmingham. You may have to work at other city centre sites on occasion, but these are all in easy walking distance of each other.

As a Facilities Assistant / handy person , you will be required to help maintain and run the site on a day to day basis. This is a very large office block, and you need to be a self starter and pro active.

I am looking for a Facilities Assistant / handy person who has experience of property or building maintenance in a customer facing role.

Typical duties are as follows

  • Help with all aspects of the day to day running of the property or properties
  • To undertake maintenance and care taking duties as required
  • Basic painting, changing light bulbs, cleaning and tidying after small building works
  • Dealing with all facilities enquiries and problems for customers and visitors

This is a Customer Facing role and you must be of smart appearance, and be polite and courteous to customers at all times.
