The Procurement and Supply Chain division at SF Group are looking to recruit a Procurement Analyst for a prestigious business in Coventry.

Primary Job Purpose:
To create and present standard and non-standard Procurement reports and data to support the delivery of savings targets, rebate management, compliance management, sourcing decisions, supplier selection, performance reporting, supplier improvement programmes, and internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of key Management Information on the Group's cost base and trend analysis of category spend
  • Measurement and reporting of procurement savings
  • Manage the regional data collation for Crane KPI monitoring and assume responsibility for production of the reporting dashboard
  • Management and tracking of rebates - Maintenance of tracker, invoicing and reporting on a monthly basis to ensure compliance
  • Production of monthly demand planner/materials forecast
  • Commodity and cost reporting to support the long-term planning capability of the organisation (utilising relevant indexes to track inflation and price fluctuations)
  • Administrate the sign off process for supplier on-boarding
  • Manage supplier data within our product specification system
  • Production of monthly departmental reporting pack
  • Data gathering and analysis for internal stakeholders (e.g. monthly reporting, compliance reporting, product catalogues, supplier KPI's and RFI's)
  • Support the Procurement team to produce market analysis
  • Work closely with Coventry and Ringwood based teams to ensure good levels of communication exist (the candidate will be expect to travel to Ringwood when needed)
  • Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holder's experience and qualifications, as may be required for the smooth operation of the business

Education and Experience

  • Educated to A level as a minimum, either;
    • Hold a Degree qualification; or
    • Have some previous work experience in an analytical role
  • Experience of working with ERP Systems (desirable but not essential)

Core Competencies Required:

  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong customer service focus
  • IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages, specifically an advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to under pressure and to deadlines, with good time management skills
  • Able to work independently to develop new reports
  • Accurate interpretation and presentation of data
