An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Analyst to join a leading professional services organisation based in Birmingham City Centre.

The IT support team is split across 3 UK sites and they provide support for IT queries, action tickets and ensure items are escalated effectively whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.

The main aspect of the role is to provide first line telephone support to all offices. You will make sure all calls are resolved or escalated within a timely manner.

Key Duties:
Be a first point of contact for internal clients
Respond to and answer IT Support calls
Provide IT basic fixes and solutions over the phone and in person
Provide support in relation to video conferencing
Ensure the process of logging tickets is followed

Skills and experience required for this role:

Proven experience within IT support
An IT qualification or equivalent
Previous experience within a customer service role
Proficient in supporting Microsoft Office and other popular software products (eg Adobe)
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to liaise with users at all levels
Ability to multitask
Excellent customer service skills and client care approach

Knowledge of specialist software such as Workshare, BigHand and Laserform would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a permanent role paying a salary of up to £20k for the right person.
