Business Development Assistants

We have an exciting opportunity for a brand new team to join our Sales and Marketing department to assist in driving Triton’s Trade business. To help the successful applicant start their career, this role will incorporate a 12-18 month bespoke development programme.

Are you a recently qualified graduate or have relevant B2B experience and looking to start a career in Sales and Marketing with a brand leading British company? You will need to display an excellent level of IT literacy as you will be assisting with the compilation and analysis of sales activities. Strong verbal and written communication skills will also be needed, together with a competent level of numeracy.

Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, this new team will work closely with the field sales team to drive trade sales growth through promotional sales activity and generating contract business opportunities.

The core responsibilities of the role are:

  • Support both the Trade Marketing Manager and Field Sales Team.

  • Gain appointments for Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and provide support to help Triton win new contracts business.

  • Help to plan and monitor ASM diaries.

  • Manage communication via CRM (Customer Relations Management)

  • Generate leads for Sales Team on a weekly basis.

  • Create, develop and maintain presentation materials.

  • Weekly telesales calls to customers to gain orders.

    The successful candidates will need:

  • Excellent IT skills - in particular Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent telephone skills.

  • Analytical mind - able to process and analyse data.

  • A self motivator with a desire to succeed.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Creative thinker.

  • Ability to push instructions through to completion.

The working week will be 35¼ hours based on 9.00 am - 5.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am - 4.00 pm on Fridays.
