REED Human Resources is working on behalf of a forward thinking social enterprise to recruit a Talent & Resourcing Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful, pro-active team who deliver the highest quality in-house recruitment service across the business.

Key Responsibilities;

• Build fantastic relationships with your customers to ensure you meet their resourcing needs each and every time.
• Design, implement and co-ordinate regional and local attraction campaigns to build talent banks of candidates as well as recruiting to specific vacancies.
• Be accountable for delivering an outstanding recruitment service that is cost effective and efficient.
• Ensure that cultural fit is also met and that it is evident and understood throughout the recruitment and selection process.
• Select and interview candidates using the agreed recruitment process within the agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Manage own workload, re-prioritising when high demand based on your understanding of high impact roles
• Build and maintain talent banks and regularly contact, talent bank candidates.
• Proactively scan and look to secure talent pools of relevant candidates
• Proactively consider the best recruitment methods for today and tomorrow
• Build strong external networks ensuring your knowledge and expertise is always current and relevant
• Gather intelligence from the external market around current trends, availability of resource, competitor activity etc for your customer’s area of business so as to offer the best service you can. Keep your HRBP informed of this intelligence.
• Work closely with your HRBP to ensure you understand the future resourcing needs as well as any issues that are arising in your customer areas, allowing you to proactively deliver the right service to your customer.
• Work with our HR team with a one team approach, keeping them up to date and informed of future vacancies and activity.
• Build and maintain great relationships with all members of the talent & resourcing team to ensure that talented candidates are visible, you share best practice to deliver a fair and consistent service to candidates and customers and that you have a good understanding of the entire business.
• Complete all reports accurately and on time e.g. monthly reports, media reports and vacancy reports.
• Be aware of the succession plans for each area of the business so you are aware of internal talent and any skills gaps.
• Interpret and apply HR policies, employment legislation and the Data Protection Act to ensure a consistent approach throughout the business.
• Deliver on all agreed recruitment training sessions within the business
• Complete project work to achieve key objectives

Qualifications and experience;

• At least 2 years experience working as an in-house recruiter (or equivalent) in a multi-site environment is essential.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and deliver to a Service Level Agree
• Confident and influential with the ability to get things done.
• Want to thrive in a role that’s demands a positive attitude, flexibility in approach and a real determination to succeed.
• Able to demonstrate great knowledge of business areas and the current employment market.
• Able to manage high volumes at any one time
• Strong IT skills
