AskJules are agents for university students with physical disabilities who choose to employ likeminded Personal Assistants (PAs) to provide their personal care.

We are recruiting Morning Carers on behalf of our client, a 19-year-old male Philosophy and Sociology student starting at the University of Birmingham this September.

Start: September 2017

About our Client

·Sustained a C4/C5 complete spinal cord injury playing rugby whilst on tour in Cape Town South Africa.

·Electric wheelchair user

·Loves rugby, football, athletics and hockey.

·Very independent and sociable but will also spend time chilling watching Netflix, box sets and TV series.

·Comedians- Ricky Gervais and Sean Locke and watching the works of David Mitchell, Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry.

About the Job

You will be employed directly by our client and be responsible for getting him up and ready for the day ahead. The position is to work 2 hours a day, 3 or 4 days - Monday to Sunday during university term time only.

Example Hours of work...

7:00 - 9:00, 8:00 - 10:00 or 9:00 - 11:00

This a great opportunity to work in the care industry and really help make a difference to our clients university experience.

£15 per hour + holiday pay!

You will work directly with our client and not for an agency!

Training provided!

About You

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided.

·You will need to be confident, physically fit, calm, patient and caring

·A mature, responsible and positive attitude

·Have English as your first language.

·Be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.

·You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
