REED Human Resources is currently working on behalf of a a facilities management business who are looking to appoint a HR Manager who will have responsibility for the UK & Ireland.

Key skills / responsibilities;

Overall accountability for the HR function for the UK & Ireland business, including
Payroll.
• Design of HR policies: Ensure that all policies remain up-to-date with changes in
legislation, and are communicated effectively to all areas of the business.
• Delivery of HR policies to include advising on employment issues as they arise including
disciplinary, performance management, absence management and grievances.
• Ensure the business remains compliant with all relevant HR legislation
• Manage the employee lifecycle – recruitment, on-boarding, probation, performance
management, leavers.
• Support the business to identify and deliver people development opportunities.
• Advise on pay and remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.
• Support business change initiatives, including restructuring, redundancies and TUPE.
• Identify and deliver efficiency improvements in HR processes and activities.
• Manage the relationship with the supplier of the Group’s in-house HR and Payroll
software.

Key skills and attributes;

In depth generalise HR experience, covering all elements of HR management.

• CIPD qualified
• Degree educated or equivalent
• Experience of delivering HR expertise and support in a multi-site business, preferably
facilities management or similar.
• Experience of interfacing effectively at all organisational levels.
• Strong customer service mindset when dealing with both internal and external
stakeholders.
