For this Teaching Assistant post, you must be an ambitious Maths graduate who has already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children and a strong academic record with a 2:2 or above in a mathematics based degree. The right applicant will have a real passion for their subject that allows them to teach enthusiasm. You must have the skills to prove you have the right balance of passion and determination that will see you flourish as a teacher. You will be able to use your clear communication skills to aid the development of your class and thrive in adverse situations.
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be working within the schools maths department, mainly helping year 11 GCSE students. You will be working across various ages and abilities, supporting teaching and learning as and when required. In this post you will be working inside and outside of the classroom with EAL pupils, using carefully selected resources to help them meet their Literacy targets.
