Edgerley Simpson Howe LLP have an exciting opportunity for a Site / Tenant Liaison Manager to join their team based in Sutton Coldfield.

Job Role: Site / Tenant Liaison Manager

Location: Princess Alice Retail Park, Sutton Coldfield

Salary: £17,750 per annum + Benefits

Job Type: Part Time - 3.0 hours per day 6 days a week (18 hours per week) between 11.00am - 6.00pm and to include either a Saturday or Sunday each week

ESH are specialist retail warehouse and foodstore property consultants. We provide agency advice to clients across a broad range of retail parks, leisure parks, supermarkets and out of town and edge of town mixed use property. The company is a specialist in the edge and out of town retail sector and covers the key areas of investment and development advice, occupational agency, asset management, rent reviews, lease renewals/re-gears and property management.

Site / Tenant Liaison Manager - The Role:

You will report to the Property Manager at Edgerley Simpson Howe LLP (ESH) and will need to have an understanding of all appropriate ESH policies and procedures and comply with them. Some liaison will be required with the owner of the site, Standard Life, particularly the Portfolio Manager.

You will need to understand operational procedures in the day to day running of Princess Alice, supporting and assisting the ESH Property Manager in maintaining the efficient and safe operation of the Retail Park. You will act as a local point of contact for tenants and, if required, the public. Where necessary, matters should be referred to the Property Manager at ESH. You will not enter into any legal agreements with tenants, suppliers or any third party of any nature.

Site / Tenant Liaison Manager - Key Responsibilities:

- You will provide a weekly report using a standard Health & Safety Inspection format, to record your inspections of the Property, for the purpose of identifying any defects that may present a risk of injury to a visitor to the property.

- In the event of a hazard being identified that presents an immediate risk to a visitor a date stamped photograph must be taken of the area and both the Property Manager at ESH and cleaning contractor AEJ Management Ltd notified so that the area in question may be visibly identified, isolated and protected.

- Urgent issues should be reported immediately the same day.

- In addition you will report and where possible take reasonable measures to prevent and/or contain;

- Fire, leakage or flooding

- Damage or vandalism to property

- Included within the weekly report referred to above you will provide observations and photographs of the condition/standard of maintenance of landscaping and the cleaning standards being achieved on site.

- You will need to build good relationships with tenants at store level and develop an understanding of sales and profitability levels for the Park.

- You will report the trading performance of each tenant on a monthly basis in an agreed format.

- Liaise with the client's marketing consultancy, collating promotional offers from tenants when available and updating the Retail Park website on a regular basis.

- Provide advice and support tenants in respect of security matters.

- Ensure that an up to date key holder list is maintained for emergency purposes.

- Liaise with police when necessary with a view to building a good working relationship.

- Assist customers of the Retail Park wherever possible.
